EDITORIAL POLICY
JOURNAL FOR THE HISTORY OF ASTRONOMY was founded in 1970 and is the only journal devoted to the history of astronomy from earliest times to the present, and to history in the service of astronomy. Its subject matter extends to such allied fields as the history of the relevant branches of mathematics and physics, and the use of historical records in the service of astronomy.

SUBSCRIPTIONS (ISSN 0021-8286)
Journal for the History of Astronomy will be published four times in 2007, in February, May, August and November. A subscription to Volume 38, 2007 is £120 (US $240 in the Americas and Japan) for institutions, £44.00 (US $88.00 in the Americas and Japan) for individuals subscribing direct, including postage. Single issues cost £28.00 (US $56.00) for institutions, £14.00 (US $28.00) for individuals, including postage.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CONTRIBUTORS
Papers offered for publication should in the first instance be submitted in Word for Windows format, as an e-mail attachment to Michael Hoskin at michael.hoskin@ntlworld.com. Large files containing images should be sent to journals@shpltd.co.uk.
